The Consumer Health Service within the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) does not require a person in charge (PIC) to obtain a food manager certification. However, a PIC must be present during all hours of operation and prepared to demonstrate their knowledge of foodborne disease prevention, application of the HACCP principles, and the requirements of the Missouri Food Code to the health inspector. No, the OSDH doesn’t require establishments to have a CFPM.
