Ohio’s Liquor Control Law (Chapter 4301.253) notes that establishments/employers may receive risk and damages mitigation benefits if they require their staff to complete responsible alcohol server training that includes the rules and regulations governing alcohol service, preventing alcohol service to minors, de-escalation tactics, and instructions for creating a safe evacuation plan in an emergency.

How do I get an alcohol server certificate in Ohio?

After completing your purchase, you can use the login information you created during the checkout process to access your alcohol server training course. Once you complete the training modules and final assessment, you can download your certificate of completion.

When does my certificate of completion expire in Ohio?

Ohio legislation does not set an expiration date for alcohol server training certificates. However, your employer may have specific requirements, and we recommend taking the course every two to three years to keep your skills sharp.

How do I take the course on my mobile device?

After purchasing a training, you will receive a welcome email with a link to the learning platform. If you attempt to log in to your training from a mobile device, you will receive a popup from our partner app, Go.Learn, prompting you to download the app. That means you’re in the right place!

After downloading the app, you will be taken to a simple welcome page requesting your platform address. You only need to enter this URL the first time you access the app.

How do I print my certificate?

Anyone who has completed a training through Trust20 and has a current certificate can download or print an eCertificate from their Trust20 account. Log into your account, select the Certificates tab, and choose "Download Certificate" to print. You can also request a certificate be mailed to you for a $10 fee.
