Is a food handler certificate or card required in Connecticut?

Food handler certificates are not required for most foodservice workers in Connecticut. However, businesses may establish their own policies requiring it. In addition, all class two, three, and four establishments must have at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on-site during all operating hours.
