Food Protection Manager Certification

Trust20's ANAB-CFP accredited Food Protection Manager Certification is an online, remote-proctored Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) exam. This program is approved by most states where operators and managers are required to have a food manager certification.

With Trust20, you can easily take a remote-proctored exam when it suits your schedule, and you’ll find out your results immediately after submitting your CFPM exam. You have one attempt to earn your food protection manager certification.

Certification Details

Trust20's Food Protection Manager Certification is an online, remote-proctored Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) exam that consists of 80 questions. You have one, two-hour attempt to pass your CFPM exam.

Step 1

Create an Account

Once you purchase a CFPM exam, you can log into your Trust20 account with the same email and password you created during checkout.

You will also receive a confirmation email from Trust20 that contains your receipt.

Your CFPM exam must be monitored by a proctor to be considered valid.

Step 2

Log In + Test Equipment

You must log in and take your exam on Google Chrome. Once logged in, you can test your camera and microphone and secure your workspace so it meets the proctoring system's requirements.

You should expect to close all applications and programs, close any additional web browsers, disconnect second screens, and clear all notes and clutter from your workspace.

Step 3

Launch CFPM Exam

After preparing your computer and clearing your space, you will be prompted to verify your identity with your photo ID and then take a video of your desk and surroundings to ensure your space meets the proctoring standards.

Step 4

Take CFPM Exam

There is a two hour time limit on the CFPM exam once you begin. If you do not pass your CFPM exam on the first attempt, you will need to purchase access to a new CFPM exam.

It is a closed-book testing session, and the proctor may stop your testing session if they suspect you are violating the testing procedures.

Washington D.C. Food Safety: What Training or Certification Do I Need?
Food safety and responsible alcohol service are at the heart of the hospitality industry—and it’s just as important in our nation’s capital as it is throughout the rest of the country. While technically not a state, the District of Columbia operates like a state and also has the functions of a city and county.
