Idaho Food Allergy Certificate Training
The Food Protection Program within the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare does not require managers, persons in charge, or staff to complete allergen awareness training. However, an establishment’s person in charge (PIC) must be able to demonstrate knowledge of allergens and train their staff on food allergy safety as it relates to their responsibilities.
This course can help meet local health department and employer food safety requirements and recommendations.
