Mississippi Food Allergy Certificate Training
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) does not require allergen awareness training for food industry managers or staff. However, the 2022 FDA Food Code, which serves as the model for the state’s regulations, requires staff to be able to identify the nine major food allergens and foods on their menu that contain these allergens. Food allergy training can help ensure that you and your team are prepared to demonstrate this knowledge and protect your customers.
This course can help meet local health department and employer food safety requirements and recommendations.
