New Mexico Food Protection Manager Certification
The Food Safety Bureau within the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) requires every foodservice establishment to employ at least one certified food protection manager (CFPM), and a person in charge (PIC) must be on-site during all hours of operation. The CFPM is responsible for overseeing food safety protocols during storage, preparation, and service. Every five years, CFPMs must renew their credentials through an approved certification provider.
Trust20’s certification program is approved by the NMED.
