Complete online anytime, anywhere

The Food Safety Program within the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) does not require managers or staff to complete a formal training on allergen awareness. However, the Virginia Food Regulations require managers to demonstrate knowledge of the major food allergens and the symptoms of an allergic reaction, as well as ensure that their staff are properly trained on food allergen safety as it applies to their responsibilities.
