Wyoming Food Allergy Certificate Training
The Consumer Health Services within the Wyoming Department of Agriculture does not require managers, persons in charge, or staff to complete an allergen awareness training. However, every establishment is required to have a person in charge (PIC) present at all hours of operation who can demonstrate knowledge of food safety–including the major food allergens and symptoms of an allergic reaction. A formal food allergy training course can help prepare PICs to answer allergen-related questions from the health department and provide education to their staff in order to protect customers.
This course can help meet local health department and employer food safety requirements and recommendations.
