Delaware Food Protection Manager Certification
The Division of Public Health (DPH)’s Office of Food Protection within the Delaware Health and Social Services requires that every foodservice establishment have at least one certified food protection manager (CFPM) on staff. There must always be a PIC present during operating hours who can oversee food safety and demonstrate to the health inspector that they are familiar with and understand the requirements outlined in the Delaware Food Code.
