Does Ohio require food allergy training?

No, the Ohio Department of Health does not require staff to earn a certificate of completion from an allergy awareness training. However, most food workers must be able to describe the foods considered as major food allergens (including milk, egg, fish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, sesame, and soybeans) and the symptoms a major food allergen can cause in a person with a food allergy.
