South Dakota Food Protection Manager Certification
The South Dakota Department of Health (DOH) requires that every foodservice establishment have at least one certified food protection manager (CFPM) on staff. There must always be a PIC present during operating hours who can oversee food safety and demonstrate to the health inspector that they are familiar with and understand the requirements outlined in the South Dakota Food Service Code.
