The Division of Environmental Health and Sustainability within the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) regulates and monitors the state’s retail food establishments.
Trust20 has contacted department officials to confirm the state’s food safety training and certification requirements that our manager certification program is approved for use in Colorado.
Colorado Food Protection Manager Certification Exam
This ANAB-CFP accredited program can help establishments ensure there is one Certified Food Protection Manager present during all operating hours. It is approved by the DEHS.
Colorado Food Handler Certificate Training
This ANAB-accredited course provides basic food safety training. The DEHS does not require formal food handler training, but they do recommend it.
Colorado Food Allergy Certificate Training
This ANAB-accredited training teaches crucial food allergy safety best practices. The DEHS does not require formal allergy training; however, persons in charge must demonstrate allergen awareness during health inspections, and this course can help them prepare.
Colorado Food Protection Manager Certification Bundle
This bundle includes access to Trust20's ANAB-CFP accredited Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) exam and food manager training.*
*Please note that this food manager training is not required to take Trust20’s certification exam, and completing the training does not guarantee a passing score on any certification exam.
