The Division of Environmental and Community Health within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) enforces Maine’s food safety regulations and the Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations (BABLO) within the Department of Administrative and Financial Services oversees the state’s enforcement and licensing of all liquor licensees.
