In North Carolina, the Food Protection and Facilities Branch of the Environmental Health Section of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) oversees the state’s food safety program, and the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Commission oversees the requirements of responsible seller-server training.
